Some major changes to the stats section of the website ahead of the new season – as always we are indebted to Chris Smith for helping keep these records up to date. If there are any stats you would like to see or any glaring omissions, please let us know!
WHATS NEW!
Historical Stats
- All figures, bar chart races and standard charts are up to date with 2024 data
- Fixed a bug in the previous version that calculated top 25 batting averages with a minimum of 100 runs incorrectly (Sorry Tim!)
Individual Stats
-
- Enhanced players search. Whilst you can still search from a dropdown list we’ve also incorporated a search bar to guide you quicker to your player. Simply enter in the format firstname.surname (e.g. R.Charters) and this should bring this up quicker. (Thanks to Z.Zafar for this suggestion!)
- Graphical analysis performance per year. See your cumulative runs and moving average over the years from batting and total wickets and bowling average per year for bowling.
- Total overs now respects partial overs and corrects the calculation giving the correct total overs bowled (no more 567.85 overs bowled!.
All time player rank.
- If your stats meet a certain criteria it will list this and give you your all time player rank standing against all the rest of the WCC players. You can also see where you lie graphically against everyone else for batting and bowling ranking on total runs and average for batting and wickets and bowling average for bowling
Player Head to Head
- Select 2 players and it will automatically compare 18 key stats and based on performance give the final score and declare a winner!
Play Cricket Stats
- We’ve imported all the play cricket stats into the database however, please note these are not official stats and should be used as a guide only.
Everything should be mobilish friendly but where there is lots of data, its probably best looking at this on a desktop.
